1973 Mercedes-Benz 508D Motorhome

I had the pleasure of purchasing a beat up but surprisingly rare Mercedes Diesel motorhome yesterday. I plan on completely stripping the interior and starting back up from scratch, the engine is in great shape with only 93,000 miles which is nothing on these beasts. They are known to easily hit the 400,000 to 500,000 mile mark. I am also planning on eventually running this bad boy on straight vegetable oil and/or biodiesel. I am starting the stripping of the interior today and i will post pictures of the demolition tomorrow. For now enjoy these picture of it, still in it's virgin condition.
